It’s happening... and I’m not entirely sure how I feel about it. But you know what they say, and by “they,” I mean Charles Darwin:

With AI, prompting has never been more important. There’s a shift in how we approach things. Instead of striving to find the right answers, we need to learn how to ask the right questions. Questions last longer, spread farther, and create friction, and from that friction, originality is born. And originality comes from emotion, from an expressive necessity tied to something deeply felt. That’s the seed of real creative work. That is what we will always have to leverage.
There are moments we feel so close, almost whole, but it’s a hazy kind of closeness. I look at the strangers who raised me, and the way they’ve become strangers to each other. We pile into the minivan. Dad drives; Mom never takes the highway. It’s small things like that, the quiet accommodations that keep them bound. When someone laughs, it feels like a victory. You can feel us holding onto it, stretching it thin, because for a second, we all want the same thing.
